Lekvár és Puding adatlapja

Egy másik egyesület kérte segítségünket 5 kutyus átvételében és gazdásításában. Ők Ask, Leya, Franklin, LEKVÁR és PUDING.

LEKVÁR és PUDING testvérek. Egy néninél született 6 kölyökkutya, akikből hármat „megmentett” egy fiatalember, mondván, hogy majd keres nekik gazdát. Sajnos a 3 kutyus 1 egész évig nála maradt, ahol egy kennelben tengették életüket bármiféle foglalkozás, szeretet, inger és  stimuláció nélkül. Naponta kétszer adott nekik enni, de itt ki is merült a róluk való gondoskodás. Nagy meglepetésére a szuka kutyus vemhes lett és ekkor kért segítséget egy állatvédő egyesülettől. Ő ivartalanítva lett, majd gazdit kapott. Hozzánk a két kan kutyus, LEKVÁR és PUDING került.

Minden új számukra és félnek mindentől.

PUDING 50 cm és sima szőrű, zsemleszínű. Ő a nyitottabb és bátrabb, de ő is tartózkodó

LEKVÁR 45 cm (a hosszabb szőrű és barna-fekete) félősebb és a pórázon is nehezebben kezelhető. Az embertől jobban tart mint PUDING. Viszont más kutyák felé ő a nyitottabb. Ő volt az, aki első nap kimerészkedett kenneljük nyitott ajtaján és körülszimatolt az irodában a többi ott élő kutyus között.

A pórázt hozzánk kerülésükkor egyáltalán nem ismerték. Szocializációjuk hosszabb időt fog igénybe venni.

Fajtársaikkal barátságosak. A macskateszt során ( ami egy cicákkal teli, apró szobában zajlik), azt tapasztaltuk, hogy nem voltak érdeklődők a macskák iránt. Mivel mindkét fél megilletődött állapotban volt, így nem feltétlen garantált, hogy máskor, más környezetben teljesen cicabarátak lesznek.
FRISSÍTÉS 2024.02.08: Pórázon már szépen sétálnak. PUDING a nyitottabb. Ő több embert is ismer és mindenkivel barátságos, de az idegenektől még fél. LEKVÁR, ha gondozóját meglátja, odamegy, megnyalja a kezét, de utána elszalad. 

Another animal charity asked for our help to take over 5 dogs. They are Ask, Leya, Franklin, LEKVÁR and PUDING.

LEKVÁR and PUDING are brothers. 6 puppies were born at an old lady’s property. 3 of the puppies were „rescued” by a young man who promised to find a new home for them. Unfortunately the 3 dogs were locked up into a kennel at his place for 1 whole year. They received no love, no attention, no stimulation, no stimulus. They got fed twice a day, but this was about the extent of care provided. Surprise, surprise, the female dog got pregnant. This is when he asked for help. An animal charity neutered her and found a new owner for her. LEKVÁR and PUDING came into our care.

They are afraid of everything. Everything is new to them.

PUDING’s withers height is 50 cm, he has short beige coat. He’s a bit more open and brave than LEKVÁR, but still reserved.

LEKVÁR’s withers height is 45 cm. He has a bit longer, black and brown fur coat. He’s more afraid of people and walking him on the lead is also harder at the moment. However, he is more open towards other dogs. On the first day he was the one who dared come out of their kennel and walked into the office to sniff around where the other dogs live.

They didn’t know the collar and lead at all when they came to us. Their socialisation will take a longer while.
With fellow dogs they're friendly. During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) theydid not show any interest in the felines. However, because both parties were experiencing a new situation it is not fully guaranteed that they will be completely cat-friendly in other situations as well. 
UPDATE 08.02.2024: They are both leash-trained now. PUDING is more open. He knows more people and when he is friendly with them, but he is still afraid of strangers. LEKVÁR goes to his carer when he sees her, bur he just licks her hand, then runs away again.
