Another animal charity asked for our help in placing 3 dogs. They are SUMMER, Bonzó and Bili. SUMMER was nobody’s dog. She lived her life in a district inhabited by a minority group with numerous other dogs. They were ruling the streets teaming up into a pack. According tot he locals, SUMMER never had an owner, she was born in the street. When they tried to secure her for the first time she was on the heat and because of all the male dogs chasing her it wasn’t possible to catch her. She came into the care of the other animal charity a week later. She came to our shelter from there. We took her for neutering immediately - just in time as she would have soon given birth to 6 puppies.

On her left eye the bottom eyelids were turned inwards which irritated the cornea and caused continuous ophthalmia making her left eye look smaller than the right one. Surgery took place on 1st December 2023.
