His course of life so far hasn’t been too lucky. He was wandering on his own in a godforsaken place and was literally nothing but skin and bone and as hungry as a wolf when an animal lover decided to rescue him and brought him to the shelter.
Since then we have been trying to soothe both his hunger and his huge need for love, but none of the two seem to be decreasing much.
HEKULE is of an awe-inspiring personality. He’s so kind with everyone and he welcomes warmly even total strangers, just like he would welcome a good friend he hasn’t seen for a long time. He loves going for a walk and he gladly goes out with just about anyone who’s willing to take him. He enjoys burrowing his head into our lap to get a little bit of love and attention. He’s very-very grateful and warm-hearted and he needs attention so-so much which we, in the shelter circumstances with so many other dogs, are sadly unable to give him in the amount he needs.
He's friendly with other dogs, but he especially enjoys being with girls. He does not like cats, however.
Due to his breed it won’t be easy to find him a loving owner. Yet he is capable of looking into the eyes of the person who holds the other end of the lead with such infinite adoration and love and he deserves it so much to be finally given a good home and a loving family.
His heartworm test result on 19th May 2022 came back negative.
