Dimitríj adatlapja

DIMITRÍJ egy nagy maci, aki alapvetően  imádja az embereket. Csak két heppje van.  A férfiakat valamikért nem szereti. Ugat rájuk. A mélyebb férfihangok nem szimpatikusak neki. Talán bánthatták, nem tudjuk. Viszont nem agresszív, tehát bármelyik férfi kiviheti sétálni és meg is simogathatja, csak nem mindenkit fog örömmel üdvözölni, helyette távolságtartó lesz, moroghat és ugathat is az első találkozás alkalmával. A hölgyeket azonban imádja. Másik heppje az, ha beakad a póráz a lábai közé. Ilyenkor morog. Szóval még dolgozunk rajta.

Egyébként rajong a sétákért és szeret puszit osztani, főleg a hölgyek részére. Őket epekedve várja kennelében és szívrepesve üdvözli.

Szuka kutyákkal tökéletes a kapcsolata, kankutyákkal kapcsolatban egyelőre az a tapasztalatunk, hogy szimpátia alapján dönt. A cicateszt során a cicák iránt élénk érdkelődést mutatott, ezért cicás családba nem ajánljuk. 

Gondoskodást és rengeteg szeretetet igényel. Ilyen gazdira vár.
FRISSÍTÉS 2023.03.01.: DIMITRÍJ rengeteget változott bekerülése óta. Nagyon sok férfi megsétáltatta és simogatta is. Már nem morog rájuk és akkor sem morog, ha beakad a lábai közé a póráz. 

Just look at those eyes! He was looking  at the person, who had just left him at the shelter, slwoly  fade away in the distance with those eyes. After he had intended to put him to sleep. He’s not ill, not old, not aggressive, not injured. It makes you wonder what reason he could have had to want to put him to sleep, other than the fact that he must have become surplus to requirement at home. Of course, we didn’t ask. We wouldn’t understand, anyway. We only understand, only know that he does not want to die yet. He’s only 2 years old. And that the end is still not near. We are looking for a new family for him. A family where he will be valued, a family that he deserves.

DIMITRÍJ is a large-grown Teddy bear, who adores people. There are just these two things bugging him. One is that he’s not keen on men. Somehow he doesn’t find the deeper male voices very likeable. Maybe he has been abused, we don’t know. However, he’s not aggressive, so any of the men can take them out for a walk and can stroke him, it’s just that he won’t welcome all the men with the huge joy and happiness with which he welcomes the ladies. Instead, he can be a bit distant with men or he can growl and bark when you first meet and greet. As for ladies, he simply adores them. The other thing that bugs him is when the lead gets tangled in-between his legs. He can growl in this situation too. So we have to work on him.

Otherwise he really enjoys going for a walk and loooooves sharing out kisses, especially for the lady visitors who come to his kennel. He waits for them in his kennel longingly, his heart skipping a beat when they finally appear.

His relationship with female dogs is perfect. So far he seems to find some male dogs likeable and some not. He showed a great interest in the cats during our cat test, so we do not recommend him to families with a feline member. 

He needs looking after and heaps and loads of love. He’s looking for a family where he can be given just that.
UPDATE 01.03.2023: DIMITRÍJ has gone through a considerable change since he came into our care. He's been walked and stroked by several men and he does not growl at them any more. He does not even growl when the lead gets entagled in-between his legs. 

 His heartworm test result on 31st August 2022 came back negative.
