CAROL was found by animal lovers. They described the experience with the following words.
“This doggie joined my daughters at Lake Csaba yesterday morning. They were looking high and low for 3 hours in the area, baking under the glaring sun, because they thought she may have had puppies. They asked all the fishermen as well. We fed her and gave her water. She was really cute as she kept plunging into the lake. When we were leaving for home the children didn't have a heart to leave her behind lest she should come to harm somehow, so we brought her to the shelter.”
We cannot thank the finder enough for bringing this ageing beauty to us.
CAROL is friendly and well-used to people. She's kind and calm. Her fur coat is a little lacklustre and dull, though, and it is obvious that she has had puppies a few times. She walks nicely on the lead, she's grateful for every kind word spoken to her and loves stroking. She doesn't just adore people, she gets on well with other dogs as well.
Sadly, she's tested heartworm positive which will incur a monthly cost of 3,000 Ft for the future owner. She's looking for a loving home where this won't pose a problem.
