de sajnos mindentől fél

Bekerülésekor a pórázt sem ismerte. Amint rákerült a nyakörv, csapkodta magát a földhöz, ugrált, tépte a pórázt, teljes pánikban volt és menekülni akart. Nehezen tanulta meg a pórázon való sétát, deTimi, egyik önkéntesünk, kitartó munkájának köszönhetően  ma már szépen sétál nyakörvben és hámban is.

ha nagyon izgatott/stresszes, csattogtatja a fogát, de nem agresszív, csak feszült

a hirtelen zajoktól még megijed, ugrik egyet, de már nem veri magát a földhöz, nem kezelhetetlen

nagyon érdeklődő a számára idegen emberek felé is, de félős – odaszalad, megnyalja az illető kezét, majd újra elszalad

Fajtársaival barátságos. A macskateszt során ( ami egy cicákkal teli, apró szobában zajlik), azt tapasztaltuk, hogy nem volt érdeklődő a macskák iránt. Mivel mindkét fél megilletődött állapotban volt, így nem feltétlen garantált, hogy máskor, más környezetben teljesen cicabarát lesz.

his beautiful floppy ears are living their own life

a super cute, infinitely kind and friendly, grateful creature

but sadly, he’s afraid of most everything

He did not know the collar and lead when he came into our care. As soon as we put the collar on him he kept throwing himself down to the ground, tried to jump away in his fear, tried to chew away the lead , was in total panic and was desperate to flee this uncomfortable situation for him. By now, thanks to the relentless work of one of our volunteers, Timi, he walks nicely both with a collar and a harness.

if he’s very winded up/ stressed he can still clatter his teeth , but he’s never aggressive, only frustrated

he still gets startled if he hears a sudden noise, he jumps, but he doesn’t throw himself down now, he can be handled

he’s very interested in strangers as well, but still shy – he runs to the new person, licks his/her hand, then runs away again

With fellow dogs he’s friendly. During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) he did not show any interest in the felines. However, because both parties were experiencing a new situation it is not fully guaranteed that he will be completely cat-friendly in other situations as well.
