Their „owner” got rid of 2 cats at the same time with great urgency. Poci and SZUROK weren't in luck with their „owner”, therefore they would really deserve a better future. Even if we had arranged with the owner that we would go and pick up the cats at a certain time he was unable to wait for that and brought them to the shelter himself.
Poci was already with kitties, SZUROK – who had probably been one of Poci's kitties previously – came into our care very thin, flea-ridden and infected with earmites.And she was really shy. She used to flee into the deepest corner of her cage when we tried to reach for her. By now the situation has improved a lot. She still runs away often when she sees a person, but when we manage to touch her she does not pull away from the stroking hand.
She does not mix with the other cats. She prefers to stay away from them. She likes to eat when the others have already finished their food. She has gained a bit of weight since she came into our care, but she still needs to put on more. Her earmites have been treated, she's neutered and FIV-FELV negative. 03.06.2021
