We still have a lot to learn!
A supposedly ill, thin cat was reported to us. When we get notified of ill animals we never say no.
When she arrived into our care we agreed, she was thin. She also sported a umbilical hernia, buta part from this she’s a gorgeous-looking, special cat.
When we uploaded her advert on Facebook a surprising message came in.
The cat is apparently an exotic, very expensive breed (Lykoi or as commonly called, werewolf cat). She’s not ill and her thinness is typical of this breed. She’s even chipped!
This was a lesson, so we have to scan the cats’ microchip as well, not just the dogs’.
The breeder contacted us and when she came to Hungary from abroad she took the cat back home with her.
LEILA’s umbilical hernia had been operated in the meantime and the breeder paid for the surgery afterwards.
We’ve never found out who was the owner who must have „lost” this gorgeous feline. But it is neither here nor there. The main thing is that she’s in a good place now.
Her breeder took her home on 30th September 2021.
