Buldi adatlapja

Kerek 10 éve adtuk örökbe, legalábbis akkor azt hittük, hogy örökbe adtuk. Akkor 2 és fél hónapos babakutya volt. BULDI egy ideje Körösújfalun lakott, de gazdája sajnos meghalt, őt pedig láncra verték és bezárták egy disznóólba a lakatlan ház udvarán. Természetesen amint megtudtuk, hogy mi történt vele, azonnal visszahoztuk.

Mit is mondhatnánk? Hogy szomorúak vagyunk? Hogy sajnáljuk? Hogy százhuszonnyolcadszor is megfogadjuk, hogy fokozott szigorral ellenőrizzük a tartási körülményeket? Igen, ez mind így igaz és mégis újra meg újra megtörténik, aminek soha-soha nem szabadna megtörténnie.

Most BULDI újra készen áll az örökbefogadásra. Hogy milyen is ő? Nos, nagyon aranyos, de úgy tűnik, nem sűrűn érinthették meg korábban ugyanis a simogatni akaró kezet igen bizalmatlanul méregeti. Soha nem kapkod, csak bizonytalan, nem tudja, mi következik. Egyelőre sétán sem figyel nagyon az emberre, inkább az őt körülvevő illatok érdeklik. Viszont nagyon okos és szófogadó és ha valakit megismer, él-hal a simiért, dicséretért, kedves szavakért.

A kankutyákkal dominanciát mutat, morog rájuk, de nem támad. Mégis inkább szuka kutya mellé ajánljuk emiatt. A macskateszt során ( ami egy cicákkal teli, apró szobában zajlik), azt tapasztaltuk, hogy nem volt érdeklődő a macskák iránt. Mivel mindkét fél megilletődött állapotban volt, így nem feltétlen garantált, hogy máskor, más környezetben teljesen cicabarát lesz. 
BULDI sajnos szívférges, az örökbe fogadónak ez havonta kb. 4.000 Ft kiadást jelent. Csak olyan jelentkezzen gazdinak, aki ezt az áldozatot meg tudja hozni érte! 2022.01.18.

On 21st September 2011 6 puppies came into our care. Within 2 months they were all adopted including BULDI. Here you can find some information about him from 2011. :

He was adopted exactly 10 years ago. At least we had thought he was adopted. At the time he was a puppy of about 2,5 months old. He’s been living in Körösújfalu for some time now, but his owner has died and BULDI was tethered and locked up into a pig sty on the premises of an uninhabited property. Naturally, as soon as we found out we drove there and brought him back to the shelter.

What can we say? That we are heartbroken? That we are sorry? That we resolve for the 128th time to do more follow-up inspections to ensure our dogs are still loved and cared for properly? Yes, all of this and yet these things happen again and again. Things that should never happen.

Now BULDI is ready for the second time to be adopted. So what is he like? Well, he’s really cute, but it seems he couldn’t have been touched very often as he’s giving a wary look to the hand that’s going to stroke him. He does not snap or bite, he’s just on his guard as he doesn’t know what’s coming. He doesn’t pay much attention to people when he’s out on a walk, he’s more interested in the smells all around him. On the other hand, he’s very smart and obedient and if he gets to know you he’s dying for stroking and any kind word spoken to him. He already loves our volunteer who spends time with him every day.

He shows dominance over male dogs. He growls at them, but he does not attack them. Still he’d be best paired with a female dog. During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) he did not show any interest in the felines. However, because both parties were experiencing a new situation it is not fully guaranteed that he will be completely cat-friendly in other situations as well. 
Unfortunately, BULDI is heartworm positive the treatment of which condition incurs a monthly cost of 4,000 Ft. He's waiting for his loving owner who's willing to provide this for him. 18.01.2022
