A very friendly stray cat turned up at a petrol station close to the town boundary. He must have come from the houses or farms in the vicinity, but due to the cars coming and going he was not safe.
Sadly, he was obviously suffering from cat flu and he was also affected by ear mites. His treatment started right away.
He was receiving immune boosters continuously, but due to the cat flu his eyes might be affected by ophthalmia in the future again. This problem won't totally go away until he gets out of the shelter circumstances where there are way too many cats for their own good as the more cats there are the greater the chance is that they infect each other.
He's a very friendly, playful cat and he's coped well with the treatments too. He's not shown the slightest sign of aggression. However, he's not too keen on other cats. They have little tiffs sometimes. It's not always him who starts it, but he won't allow being bothered.
We are looking for a home for him where there is time to spend with him, stroke him and play with him and pay attention to him as he requires that very much because of his age.
He's castrated, vaccinated, chipped and FIV-FELV negative.
He's to be adopted as an indoor cat only.
He's relocated to Germany. 18.06.2021
