Kicsi adatlapja

Történetét nem ismerjük, soha nem fogjuk megtudni hogy hogyan került az utcára, hogy csak elkóborolt otthonról vagy egyszerűen nem volt szükség már rá és kitaszították. Csak azt tudjuk biztosan, hogy a kedves öreganyó szörnyű állapotban, ápolatlanul, összecsomósodott szőrrel, gyulladt szemekkel, lábában toklásszal járta az utcákat mielőtt megérkezett hozzánk. Az állatorvosi vizsgálat során kiderült, hogy kötőhártya-gyulladása van, emlődaganatos és szívbillentyű-gyulladása is van. Mindig elszorul a szívünk, ha egy idős, több évet hűségesen szolgált kutyus kerül a menhelyre. De KICSI szerencsés. Ha magára hagytuk volna, talán már nem is élne. Nálunk menedékre lelt, mi gondoskodunk róla, bár idős kora ellenére szeretne fontos lenni valaki számára és szeretne egy meleg otthont, ahol hátralévő idejét szeretetben, biztonságban és boldogságban tölthetné el.

Bekerülése óta kiderült, hogy az ápolatlan szőrcsomó alatt egy egészen új kutya bújt meg. Még tartózkodó természetű, de kedves, jóindulatú és együttműködő kutyus, aki pórázon is tud sétálni. Kutyatársaival egészen közömbös, de békésen bóklászik velük a menhely udvarán. A macskateszt során ( ami egy cicákkal teli, apró szobában zajlik), azt tapasztaltuk, hogy nem volt érdeklődő a macskák iránt. Mivel mindkét fél megilletődött állapotban volt, így nem feltétlen garantált, hogy máskor, más környezetben teljesen cicabarát lesz. 2020.09.01.

We do not know her history and we will never find out the how and the why of her being loose in the street or whether she had simply escaped from the garden and wandered away or she had become surplus to requirement and was therefore cast off. What we know for sure is that the kind elderly lady had been wandering lonely in a terrible, unkempt condition, with matted hair, inflamed eyes and awns in his foot before she arrived at the shelter. The veterinary examination revealed that she had ophthalmia, endocardiosis and a mammary tumour as well. One always feels a tug at one's heartstrings when an elderly dog comes to the shelter who has served someone loyally for several long years. But KICSI has been lucky. If we had left her own devices it is possible that she would not be alive now. She's found shelter with us and we will look after her, although despite her age she would love to be important for someone and she would love to have a warm, loving home for herself where she could spend the rest of her life in love and care, safety and happiness.

Since she came to the shelter it has turned out that there is a completely new dog under the unkempt hair coat. She's still reserved , but she's a kind, well-meaning and cooperative doggy who can even walk nicely on the lead. She's indifferent to other dogs, but she peacefully saunters away in the yard of the shelter. During our impromptu cat test - that happens in a small room full of cats - she didn't show any interest in cats.  Both KICSI and the cats were rather cautious in this new situation, therefore, it is not guaranteed that she will be completely cat-friendly in absolutely every single situation. 01.09.2020 
Her first mammary tumour surgery: 16.09.2020

Her heartworm test result on 22 June 2020 came back negative.
