His owners brought him to the shelter with a shaggy and neglected fur coat and very painful and neglected ears and gave him up due to moving away. It seems they did not care much for him and yet BETYÁR is a very good dog. He's infinitely kind and loving. He adores simply everyone. We have groomed him a bit, bathed him and his ear problem has been attended to by the vet.
BETYÁR is the top prize itself. He walks very nicely on the lead and he awaits patiently the collar to be put round his neck. He doesn't keep jumping up, doesn't keep yapping and doesn't bark without reason, either. He's calm, easy to handle and intelligent. We couldn't say anything bad about him even of we wanted to.
His only wish is a proper home now and therefore, we will only let him be adopted by someone who would regard him as family and would have time to gift him as well. As well as having to walk him regularly, he belongs to the type of dogs whose ears need attention too. They need looking after because on the inside he has longer hair than some other dogs.
He gets on well with other dogs. During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) he did not show any interest in the felines. However, because both parties were experiencing a new situation it is not fully guaranteed that he will be completely cat-friendly in other situations as well. 01.12.2020
His heartworm test on 16th October 2020 came back negative.
He's relocated to Germany. 18.12.2020
