What a ” nice” little story what our 4 cats have. Unfortunately, only 4 as the 5th cat had disappeared before coming into our care.
As it happened, someone said to someone that they could bring cats to our dog shelter from anywhere!!!!! What did they think???? The „kind owner” didn’t hesitate one second. He packed up his 5 cats and drove them to us from about 40-50 km. He had just started to load them into our emergency cages outside the shelter during opening hours when one of our employees noticed him and challenged him. Unfortunately, by this time 2 of the 5 cats had escaped and disappeared. In a few days’ time one fugitive wandered into the trap we had set up, but the 5th cat has never been found.
This is how we have now Szami, Szuszmi, Szasza and XÉNA. They were all suffering from an undescribibly serious earmite infestation. Their treatment lasted a very long time. They have all been neutered by now and they all have negative FIV-FELV tests. Szami and XÉNA had been pregnant.
XÉNA wasn’t in the best condition when she came into our care. She was undernourished, her fur coat was dull, her ears were infested with earmites and on top of all that she was pregnant.
We trust that she will get stronger and stronger due to the immune booster she is taking right now.
She’s still a little shy among other cats, so she enjoys hiding, but her mood is getting better and better. She’s friendly with people and enjoys stroking.
She would ease up in a calm and peaceful childfree family environment. She’s waiting for her patient owner.
She can be adopted as strictly an indoor cat.
She’s been adopted. 23.07.2021 (J)
