LENCSI Mami used to live in a colony in Békéscsaba, but as it usually happens, she began to get rounder and rounder in the spring. By the time one of our volunteers took her into her care the little ones inside her was so well-developed that neutering was out of the question. She gave birth to 5 kittlens out of which 3 lived. She was nurturing them nicely and 2 of the 3 found a loving home soon.
Sadly, LENCSI and her son, GILBERT, couldn’t stay any longer in foster care as they needed to give their place to other, more needy cats after neutering, so they came into the shelter into a cat room with an attached outdoor area.
At the beginning they were a bit taken shy and careful with the other cats, but we experience it very often when cats move into a new environment with other unknown cats. By now they have got used to the new situation.
LENCSI is a little bit reserved. She enjoys being on her own and doesn’t particularly require the company of other cats, but she adores being with people and loves being stroked and caressed. We recommend her to be an only cat. She’s looking for a responsible owner who will provide the care that we can’t really give her at the shelter as looking after several cats takes lots of time and there is little time left for individual care and attention.
She’s to be adopted strictly as an indoor cat, in Békéscsaba only, but a rented property is not an option.
She’s vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, housebroken and FIV-FELV negative.
She's been adopted. 28.01.2022 (J)
