We wonder how this rickety, old, half-blind and deaf doggie ended up on the road leading to the shelter.
After a whole life spent serving his previous owner he arrived with us with a matted, shaggy coat, deaf, thin and hungry. Having been wandering aimlessly and alone in an unknown world is the most undeserving thing that could happen to an elderly dog that was no doubt a loyal companion to someone.
By now he's got rid of his shaggy coat. He happily endured being bathed and groomed.
His attitude towards other dogs is friendly. He's an infinitely calm and well-intentioned dog. He walks nicely on the lead, adores being stroked and expects being paid attention and caring.
We would like to provide him with everything he was missing out on in his earlier life and find him his true loving new owner who will stand by him for the rest of his life and make up for all the pain and deprivation he had suffered before.
He travelled to Germany on 15th November 2019.
