She was found in a nearby recreation area. Who knows for how long she must have been left out in the cold winter, hungry and lonely. The animal lover who found her took her to a safe place, but the dogs there didn't accept her in the pack, therefore, she had to come into our care. She wasn't chipped, so we were not able to inform her owner about her whereabouts and nobody has been round to look for her either.
She was named BEUS. At the beginning she was so scared that she didn't even dare to stick her nose out of her kennel. She didn't dare to eat. She's taken time to ease up. She's slowly got used to her new environment and gradually opened up to her carers. She's leash-trained. She's compatible with other dogs, moreover, she's getting along well with cats as well.
During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) she did not show any interest in the felines, she was rather afraid of them.
However, she does bark at people unknown to her as she's scared.
Her future owner will have to try and gain her trust.
Her heartworm test result came back negative on 5th February 2020.
She travelled to Germany. 14.02.2020
