A haszonállat még mindig sokkal értékesebb Magyarországon mint a társállat sajnos. A chipes és ivartalan kutyust a saját gazdája hozta be a  menhelyre mert nem kompatibilis a baromfival.

Fajtársaival barátságos. A macskateszt során ( ami egy cicákkal teli, apró szobában zajlik), azt tapasztaltuk, hogy nem volt érdeklődő a macskák iránt. Mivel mindkét fél megilletődött állapotban volt, így nem feltétlen garantált, hogy máskor, más környezetben teljesen cicabarát lesz.

Livestock is still a lot more valuable than pet animals in Hungarian households – unfortunately. ALEXANDER, the alreadymicrchipped and castrated doggy was brought to the shelter by his own owner because he’s not compatible with the hens.

but he may be startled by some sudden movements and he’s a bit careful as well due to the obvious bad experiences he had had earlier

lives together with several other dogs in the office area of the shelter

With fellow dogs he’s friendly. During our impromptu cat test (that is conducted in a small room full of cats) he did not show any interest in the felines. However, because both parties were experiencing a new situation it is not fully guaranteed that he will be completely cat-friendly in other situations as well.
